Services offered:
Adults - short to long-term therapy for neurodivergent clients (ADHD, autistic and AuDHD);
professionals and students.
I work flexibly and collaboratively with clients in a compassionate manner. Clients tell me they find me easy to talk to and value my insights and practical suggestions.
Specialist in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the use of creative approaches (including writing), inner-self parts and dialogue work.
Supervision for individuals and groups; consultancy for neurodiversity/mental health issues.
Offering training on ADHD, ACT therapy, using creative approaches/writing and wellbeing.
Lived experience:
Late diagnosed ADHDer, with Autistic/AuDHD characteristics.

Issues: Autism and ADHD; work/study and daily life challenges and pre/post diagnosis support; long-term health challenges e.g. CFS; anxiety, depression and mental health; trauma; loss and bereavement; relationships; life/family changes;trans/gender identity.
Experience: 15 years working as a counsellor, supervisor, trainer in the NHS with staff and clients (IAPT), Universities with staff and students, charities (clients, volunteers and supervisees), and private practice. Past teaching: disability advisor, mentoring and research.
Location:
Sheffield S10/11 walk/talk therapy, in a therapy room (S11) and online throughout the UK.

About Me:
I’m creative and compassionate, a cat owner, who loves being in nature and swimming. I prefer deep conversations to chit chat and enjoy life-based films, books, and poetry writing.
Getting a late diagnosis in my fifties and learning to embrace being ADHD has been a drawn-out, but enriching journey. Understanding how it’s affected me throughout life and given me annoying daily challenges, plus unexpected joys, now makes sense!
