About Me:
Being the founder and director of Free2BMe, neurodiversity is very much my professional passion. I am multiply neurodivergent, and neurodivergence is always welcomed and accepted in all aspects of my practice. I offer a safe space to explore what being neurodivergent means and what a good neurodivergent life looks like for you. I have experience working in specialist trauma services and integrate trauma-informed approaches into my practice, including trauma-focused CBT. I am happy to adapt the environment and the therapy as much as possible to make it accessible and comfortable.
I design and facilitate most of Free2BMe’s training courses and offer bespoke training and consultancy services to a wide variety of organisations across the UK, including counselling and psychotherapy services, mental health charities, universities and therapy training institutions.
I am also a clinical supervisor, specialising in supporting practitioners working with neurodivergent clients in mental health settings. Neurodivergent therapists are of course particularly welcome! I work on either an ongoing basis or I can offer my expertise and support for particular clients or groups you may be working with on an ad hoc/consultancy basis.
In my life outside the therapy room, exercise and nature are essential for my wellbeing; I enjoy wild swimming and walking with my dog, and I train for powerlifting and Strongwoman events.
