About me
I have been working as a therapist since qualifying in 2009. The psychology of being human is a long-term special interest of mine. I especially enjoy working with late diagnosed (self diagnosis included) Autistic and ADHD adults in exploring identity and wellbeing, whilst cultivating self-compassion and self-acceptance. I work integratively; incorporating a predominantly Humanistic and Person-Centred therapeutic approach, with additional skills in CBT and Hypnotherapy. Your uniqueness and neurodivergence are welcomed and encouraged by me, and I offer a neuro-affirmative therapeutic space whereby we can together explore what your neurodivergence means to you.
I am undertaking further studies in Positive Psychology as an addition to my therapeutic practice which places focus on our strengths; particularly relevant to neurodivergence. I am currently researching self-compassion and its potential role in neurodivergent wellbeing.
I have an interest in the psychological benefits of movement. This means that I have studied the relationship between movement and wellbeing and it is an option to explore in therapy.
Outside of my work, I enjoy walking with my three Labrador Retrievers, exploring nature, dancing (completely unprofessionally and mainly in the kitchen), open water swimming, cooking, reading, music and movies, speaking about my Autistic and ADHD experience.

I offer a concession rate slot for students at 20% off the usual rate, available for up to 10 sessions.
